According to industry sources, Shruti Haasan will not be taking up the role opposite Dhanush for Aishwarya's film as she doesn't have any dates to allot! Shruti is currently quite busy in Tollywood where she has three films on hand. With this film set to roll in the near future, she apparently couldn't work out the required dates.
So the question is who will bag the coveted role? Well, it looks like it's none other than Amala Paul who's the chosen one. Post her widely-appreciated performances in Mynaa and the recently released Deiva Thiirumagal, Amala Paul seems to have become much sought-after in Kollywood. Sources say that with her rising popularity among audiences, producers and directors are looking to cash in on this.
When CT contacted Amala Paul to confirm the news about her signing the film with Dhanush, she said, "Yes, I have been approached for the film. That's all I can divulge right now."
An industry source adds, "Amala Paul is yet to sign the film. So, the news is being kept under wraps." As we stated earlier, it's rumoured that Dhanush's elder brother, Selvaraghavan, who recently got hitched for the second time, is penning the script for this much-talked about film.
