Hoffmann, Victor Slavkin, Stanislav Sokolov. The film Features Slava Polunin, Anvar Libabov, Vladimir Koshevoy, Natalya Fisson. The music is playesd by Shandor Kallosh. The film is Expected to release on May 2014.
Story And Technique
The Movie based on the tales of E.T.A. Hoffmann.The film will features puppet animation instead of Computer animation for special effects. The film will be based around three of Hoffmann's tales (Klein Zaches, The Golden Pot and The Sandman). The main character of the movie is Hoffman himself. The Movie will focus on the duality between the imaginative universe of his writings and his real-life profession as a government clerk.
History
The Main project was initiated by the producer of the Film Akop Kirakosyan. the idea of doing a film about E.T.A. Hoffmann's stories was Shemyakin's. It is the biggest project that the Soyuzmultfilm studio Till Now. There were nearly 22 puppets in the first 22 minutes of the movie. Each puppet took no less than a month to make. The filming for the pilot began in late 2005, and the first 13 minutes were screened in late November, 2005.The full film will have over 150 puppets.
The upcoming film is the Third part of the film and its time of duration takes totally 90-minutes. The film will be released in May 2014. The official English name was revealed to be "Hoffmaniada".
