Harry potter hits the indian box office


Warner Bros. Pictures' Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, the final adventure of the film series based on the beloved books by J.K. Rowling, shattered box office records in India in its opening weekend. harry-potter-and-the-deathly-hallows2
The first weekend box office collection in India was Rs.15 crores. The announcement was made today by Denzil Dias- Deputy Managing Director-Theatrical, Warner Bros. Pictures India.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 opened on approximately 600 screens, with fans lining up for hours to be among the first to see the film. The opening weekend gross eclipsed the previous record of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 by 37 % which opened on 19th November 2011.
